Summary:
The Neoair PLUS is the upgraded version of the Neoair Enviro 68108 that I have tested with excellent results a few months ago. The sturdy frame and impeccable craftsmanship immediately inspire/transmit confidence and solidity. This more powerful model comes packed as well with a remote controller, an excellent pollution monitoring sensor, filter replacement indicator and auto-mode function.
The casing is pearl white and it looks neat and sharp. The size is really compact and very light weight. You can easily carry it with one hand thanks to the built in handle in the back of the machine.
The Neoair PLUS comes with the latest high efficiency SuperHEPA filter that has twice as much filter media than the regular filter version of the Enviro 68108. The manufacturer recommends this new filter to allergy sufferers and to people that is extra sensitive to dusts and pollens.
Turning it on: As soon as I fired up this baby I immediately understood why this unit is called PLUS. Wow, that's real power!! The neoair PLUS comes with a completely redesigned fan motor that is very compact but offers the same power and reliability of much bigger and bulkier air cleaners.
What about the noise? How did it perform? The first speed setting (Low) is quiet and hardly noticeable. Pumping up the horse powers I am increasing the speed to the second level (medium): At this level the unit is still quiet but slightly noticeable. It doesn't bother. (By the way, I am having this running for less than 10 minutes and the air of my office is already crispier. WOW!!). Now, I move onto the High setting: there is a big gap of airflow from medium to high speed. This last level is very powerful and I prefer to call it TURBO clean mode. This setting it is best used if you need a quick fix and need to filter the air real fast right away. I am glad they kept the low and medium speeds quiet (your air cleaner will run at those levels 95% of the time) and still give you the possibility to blast out pollutants in no time with the highest speed. Also the Neoair PLUS comes with the patent pending O.F.S. sterilization filter. As I wrote on my prior review, O.F.S. filter technology is unique and opens new horizons in research on how to combat airborne pollution. It annihilates mold spores and airborne bacteria that get trapped within its matrix.

Overall this unit rocks!! The Neoair PLUS is compact, sharp, extremely powerful and nice looking; what else can you ask? Oh Yes, it is still retails for less than 300 dollars. This bad boy can easily compete (and probably outperform) many other air cleaners out there that sells for $450 or more.
Overall I am very impressed, it passed my cigarette test and the air of my office is crispy and clean. Also the replacement filters kit sell for just $45 dollars, a real bargain.
Strengths:
Independent testing and certification prove effectiveness. It covers up to 600 square feet and fast. It is effective against pollen, dust, bacteria and molds. Comes with O.F.S. sterilization filter technology, remote control, pollution monitoring system, and filters replacement indicator (probably the most useful feature than many more expensive products do not have). A replacement filters kit goes for $60 and will last you a year or so. Price/Quality ratio is still excellent.
Weaknesses:
The remote controller is the same one of the Enviro 68108 and lacks a digital display; this makes it hard to operate certain function of the air purifiers from distance. Probably I would have add (like in the Enviro 68108) one or two more fan settings. These are all the weaknesses I could find. Indeed a great buy at this price.
